    • ]]>     So finally I got my portrait lens. The nikkor af 85mm 1,8 D. It took us some time to decide if the 1,4 is worth the triple price or not – and finally we took the 1,8 D because we also want to get the d700 (or hopefully an upcoming version announced at the photokina?) to finally enjoy fullframe like we did with the 5d mk2.

    here some new impressions (lowlight in our flat at night):

    fractal design define r3
    I love my new case! It is from fractal design, named “define r3″ and some swedish guys who did a great job in silent & pro-cooling buildt it. It`s not that cheap but it is really worth the mice. Finally we could hear our own breath near our pc. super-silent and the cpu is running on silent ~30°C/86 F.

    And one shot done by Nelly. Me, cause it`s a portrait lens – we also want to use it this way :)
