I´m dreaming of a white christmas. I know, in times of global warming this might stay a dream for a really long time.
But why is it, that every year, just before christmas day, there is snow.
Lovely snow all over the city.
This time it was so very cold, that my fingers went numb within minutes and taking good pictures was a hard thing to do.
(“What ISO? I don´t care, I can´t turn the scroller anyway, my fingers are stiff!”)
People enjoyed their walk in a fast way. Cold cold cold.
And then why why why is it every year, that one day before christmas a rush of a warm weather front takes it all away?
Why? The one day of the year where a winter walk would be so totally different.
Where one could go outside, kiss snowflakes, tell the kids not to eat the yellow snow and come home to open presents in the warmth and be thankful?
I decided to be thankful anyway. We had snow. The time did not matter. In fact, if we as human kind go on like this, I might not be able to take a walk in the snow with my own kids. So at least I have pictures.

A lot of work in the last days, but now we’re free for at least 2 weeks to post some more stuff for you:
Japanese Final Fantasy XIII Launch Line Report
A big party for all the FF XIII – awaiting people. We really want to be there, but just a flight-ticket for a release party would be too crazy
A first original gameplay video found on youtube from Final Fantasy XIII:
also interesting for game-fans like us: the japanese game-blog from andriasang.
Eventually we’d plan a trip to GB / London. Why?
The group called “Bonobo” plays LIVE at London in 2010!

Finally, We want a Dog!
Since some days we’re searching for a dog. Finally we decided to get a pomeranian or a long haired chihuahua for ourselves
Enjoy your christmas time and see you soon!

I did not know there was a song for my disease. But apart from really good lyrics, it is also a catchy tune!
Clap your hands for J-Krafty!

As announced we checked out the comic market at Längenfeldgasse last sunday.
This kind of market takes place about three to four times a year and is highly frequented.
It was our first time to have a look however and it was astonishing how organized everything seemed.
The market took place in a school building. “Maybe not the best atmosphere for a occassion like this,” I thought. Everything around was brown and had a touch of the 70´s, bringing the feeling of a flea market with it.
At the entrance we were handed some goody bags. While I was looking inside my bag, I was almost trampled down by some Storm Troopers.
Yes, Storm Troopers. Followed by an alien guy (who surely has a name too) and Luke Skywalker who had a cup of coffee with him.
Now this brought a total different attitude to the whole thing. Suddenly this was no boring school anymore, rather than a mysterious headquarter of evil and good forces, all lining up to show and sell their toys. I smiled at the thought of one of these Storm Troopers sitting in his living room, all dressed in uniform and playing with his Imperial Star Destroyer and making sounds like “zoom bzzzzz bzzzz bzzz”.
What immideately took my whole attention was the merchandise stand. This is a brain-dead situation to me.
Oh, a Totoro figure. It´s mine. End of story. ;;^_^;;
Now if you have been collecting ANY kind of comic for the last 30 years or so and you just happen to miss this one particular piece in german, english, italian or elvish, then this is the place for you. The assortment is overwhelming, the number of likeable nerds with good information very high.
And last but not least I now share the bed with a Super Mario Star. Very soft that guy. What more could I want.

A foggy cold sunday and good lightning by the sun drives us to go out with the sigma 150mm marko for some hours.
The hot chocolate was a real pleasure for our cold lips

You enjoy your Vienna vacation and need some really really good and cheap food? You don’t want to drive hours to the outer/cheaper regions because you live or stay at the inner city? So you definitely have to check out the best burgers and food (also vegetarian, not only meat) in vienna at Gußhausstraße 12, 1040 Wien.

One of our favourite Pet/Bird/Aquaristic shops in Vienna is located in the Columbusg 27-29 in the 10th district. Most people in Vienna might think that the 10th district isn’t the most “likeable” place in town, but it’s a jump from the unterground metro U1 station “Keplerplatz” and if you need healthy fish and other pet stuff, it’s a good place!
Thanks to the lovely people who own this shop, we got the chance to take some pictures of fish and birds (through the gratings).
